Our Programs
We offer a range of services designed to support Colorado’s Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind communities. From communication access and technology programs to mentorship and legal support, our goal is to help you connect, participate, and thrive.

Ascent Program
The Ascent Program is a free program for Colorado families with DHHDB children and youth, ages birth to 21 years of age, to connect with Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind (DHHDB) adults.

Colorado Early Hearing Detection & Intervention (COEHDI)
The COEHDI program collaborates with other state agencies and EHDI partners statewide to support a coordinated system of care for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children, aged birth to 36 months, and their families.

Communication Access Services
Communication Access Service providers are vendors that provide sign language interpretation, CART captioning, and other communication services.

Communications Technology Access Programs
The Communications Technology Access Program (CTAP) provides communications technology, education, resources, specialized equipment, and training for qualified Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, and speech-disabled individuals.

Grant Application
The Grant Program was created by the Colorado legislature, and grant recipients are selected based on the recommendations of the Division’s Grant Program Committee.

DeafBlind Programs
Our DeafBlind programs help DeafBlind children and adults gain access to information in their environment and everyday life.

Training, Outreach, & Presentations
The Division provides and participates in a wide variety of training, outreach, and presentations (TOP). Topics are focused on supporting the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind communities, including the need for access to effective communication.

The Colorado Division for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind (CDDHHDB) provides essential services and advocacy to ensure communication access, technology support, and community resources for DHHDB individuals, their families, professionals, and community partners throughout Colorado.
